Poker Stars has announced that they will be running a $1 million dollar turbo takedown tournament on the last Sunday of every month! The tournament is unique in that 1 in 3 players will get a cash prize. To play in the tournament players will need to buy-in using 5000 Frequent Player Points.

If you don’t have 5000 fpp’s to spare you can play in satellites running daily for as little as 10 fpp credits. The tournament can be found in the Events > Special tab in the poker stars lobby. Also in that tab you will be able to register for satellites to the turbo takedown.

The winner of the tournament will receive a $100k while second takes $60k and third $40k and so on. The tournament pays up to 4,000th place and that pays $90 bucks (sweet!). This is probably the best freeroll tournament you can play. Although, you will need to have played some real money poker at poker stars it is definitely worth it. You can easily get 10 fpp’s in about 10 minutes of poker play and you will be able to enter a satellite tournament to this $1 million dollar tournament.
